MEDICAL & BIOLOGICAL ILLUSTRATIONS
H5N1 INSTRUCTIONAL ILLUSTRATION FOR "THE JOURNAL OF ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH"
At the onset of the bird flu in Asia, The Journal of Environmental Health chose to have Cognition Studio create an instructional illustration eduating Environmental Health Professionals on the mode of transmission. The subject was all still very new, and at the time, data was still being released directly from the WHO and CDC and had not hit the main stream. NEHA director hooked us up with the scientific data and had our illustration reviewed and approved by the WHO and the CDC before going to press. This would be the first illustration of its kind when it came out and it was such a visual sucess that CNN took it and made it into an interactive animation to educate their audiences around the world on the internet.
